I am trying to recover from increased estrogen levels and then some guy has to go around shooting people at school. Its not really the shooters fault either, america lacks in providing counseling or mental health services to asians. people don't understand the cultural pressures that are laid on asian students. I think I can speak for asians when i say I wouldnt feel comfortable going to the university mental health clinic because I would assume my problems would not be understood due to cultural barriers. Its easy for "american" psychologists to advise students to do whats going to work out best for the student even if the parents do not approve as far as career or academic advice is concerned. assimilating into the american culture isnt as easy as eating hot dogs at the ball park. Its a matter of how much are you willing to give up of your own culture in order to take part in the american culture? On that note I am providing free Indian-American counseling to you all! So in the mean time dont go around shooting people at school. Couseling hours are tuesdays and thursday 2pm-10pm.
