The Local Picnic & Games passed by a vote of 6 to 3, so here are some local options:
Ed R Levin, Milpitas
Lake Elizabeth, Fremont
A neighborhood park, Milpitas
Lake Del Valle, Livermore
I don't consider Livermore local, but I thought I'd throw that in just in case. Any others?
lake elizabeth is nice...lots of hindus there..ed r levin is chill too..not as many people there..kinda have it to ourselves
ed r levin!
ed r levin!
OR cardozo park by sat's house so we can play softball!
Does anyone know if there's still duck poop all over the place at Ed R Levin? I hope they cleaned up that situation. I'm down with Ed R Levin as long as there's no duck poop.
And to second Mandeep's comment, if we're going to play softball, Cardoza is probably the best option.
cardoza is chill...softball will be sick..as long as its available..i know there is some league or something that always plays out there. but even then..we can use the baseball fields
i want ed r levin and I would rather go for a hike there or play rugby (two hand touch style not beat the fuck up style). I think it would be easier to drink alcohol at ed levin because its all secluded and cardoza seems like all the neighbors will know if we are drinking (this argument is only valid if alcoholic beverages are not allowed at parks)
for softball, cardoza park......
time for a poll...
btw, Cardoza allows alcohol, & Ed R Levin charges for vehicles. We also have the option to reserve a picnic site at either of the parks for a fee ($100ish).
actually Cardoza is a lot cheaper to reserve. $35 for picnic area and $4/hour for the softball field. That way, no one can bug us.
Or we can just do it the old fashioned way... just take whatever is open.
I think Ed R Levin has 4 small areas that don't need to be reserved. We'll have to get there early.
Also the vehicle fee at Ed R Levin is $5.
