Last Chanceee

Hello. As some of you might know i have been working as an investment banker for Christian Stanley for the last couple of years. Incase you don't know, Christian Stanley is an Investment Bank predicated on Life settlements, or what we like to call Reverse-Life Insurance policies. We offer great financial products such as full on life insurance policies (yielding over 12%) and/or 8%apr on your money (national average 1.2%). Our company has been around for about 6 years now, and i have been with them for 2. The reason i bring this up today is because after a long awaited period, we are finally going PUBLIC this year. I recently had a meeting with the CEO and he showed me our S1 form (the form you file with the SEC to go public) which will be submitted the end of this month confirmed by our lawyers.

I wanted to give everyone in the family one last opportunity a chance to invest in shares before we go public. This in no way is for me. Although i will get some commission if someone does decided to invest, you will be making alot more money. Basically the shares RIGHT NOW are offered at 80cents each. The S1 confirmed price per share that we will be opening at is $15 (over 15 times your investment). For some this is too good to be true, and for the last couple of years it has been for me also. But the time has come. As your friend, cousin, brother, or maybe even financial advisor, this is something you guys should definintley consider. It can change your life. The best deal we can offer is for $20,000 you will recieve 25,000 shares. This means when we go public, your $20,000 will at least turn into $375,000. Seems crazy, but its not. For worst case scenrio i suggest that the family comes together and make a pool of money, if no one has that type of capital to invest on their own. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and in no way am i exaggerating. Also, there is no pressure from me, i just want you guys to know that this opportunity exists/existed. As a company we have enough funds to continue ($180,000,000 coming from the ipo) and i am just bringing this up for you guys. Even if you don't decide to invest, no worries what so ever. I will definintley hook you guys up after the IPO, but nothing close to this magnitude. Please let me know asap, thank you.

Best of Luck

Miracle Fruit/Berry

Here's the Miracle Berry I was telling some of you about. Apparently, after chewing on it for a minute or two, it alters your taste buds so that anything you eat within the next one or two hours tastes different. Sour or bitter foods/drinks will taste sweet. And sweet foods will taste weird. Unfortunately, it's really expensive ($2-3 per berry) and hard to find. Although we can order a case of 30 for about $90. We should try it one of these days and have a taste altering party. How about lemonade tasting sweet without any sugar? Or beer that tastes like chocolate? Some interesting possibilities. Check it out:

Your Caffeine Addiction

Check out how much caffeine is in your favorite coffee or energy drink: Caffeine Database
Ignore the error at top, and just scroll down to the list. Surprisingly, Red Bull actually has less caffeine than a cup of coffee.

They also have a list for the amount of sugar in those drinks.

They even have caffeine for some food or candy.

I need a DJ

I need a DJ for the wedding reception. We're thinking about going with DJ Precaution. Anyone know anything about him? Or do you know of any other good DJs? And what's a typical rate for a wedding (about 5-6 hours)? The date is August 31st in Sunnyvale. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks All!

Another Reason I Love Google.

For those of you who don’t know, I have a strange and borderline obsessive fixation with the tech monster that is Google. Now, I can go on and on about my love for all things Googly (let’s not even get into the wonderful world of GChatting), but today I will leave you with just one of the reason I love Google:
Google is funny!!!

Every year Google pulls an April Fool’s joke on their faithful followers. I am pretty sure this year it is their great custom time option.
http://mail.google.com/mail/help/customtime/index.html
[check out the testimonials--see! funny!]

Someone else also sent me a link to another potential Google April Fool’s prank. (An application for people to apply for a position to be sent to Mars by Google and Virgin [cleverly titled Virgle].) http://www.google.com/virgle/application.htmlvirgle_assessment

Of course I completed the application just to see what humorous things Google comes up with...lo and behold I found an entirely new reason to love Google...Google can predict the future! (yeah so what if I found another reason to sneak my love for Google in...it’s my post.) Once I clicked submit, I received the following results:

Well, you’re distressingly normal and could conceivably adjust to life as a deep space pioneer, though we recommend instead that you leave the Mars missions to the serious whack jobs who scored over 130 and instead finish year 3 of law school, tuck your toddler into bed, design Web 2.0 applications, run for Congress or do whatever other normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road thing you’re currently doing with your normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road life. If you’re determined to give Virgle a try, though, you can submit your video here.

Yeah almost all of it doesn’t apply to me-- but the "finish year 3 of law school" does and THAT, my friends, is why Google is amazing!
